Supporting OSC Across the Country

Although we are a small staff team we believe it is important to meet OSC services across the country to ensure that we are best able to represent the views and concerns of the sector and also to share with you updates on national perspectives.

For example, this past week was another busy one out and about across the country. On Monday we were in Edinburgh attending one of the government's subgroups focussing on workforce and quality as part of the development of the National OSC Framework. Tuesday and Wednesday we were up in Inverness meeting with CALA and holding a regional event in partnership with the Scottish Government. Then on Thursday we were delivering ACEs and Resilience training in Milngavie to Time Out OSC services.

This coming week we are delivering Next Steps Physical Activity Training in Dumfries and through our partnership working with CALA, our First Steps Physical Activity Training is being delivered in Wick. We are also delivering ACEs and Resilience Training in West Lothian. We are also twice through in Edinburgh- once for the final local engagement event in partnership with Scottish Government and twice to attend a government subgroup focussing on spaces and settings for OSC.

We are also currently undertaking some work with OSC services in North Ayrshire.

If you have local network meetings, would like to share some great practice, or just want to have a chat, let us know and where possible we shall be happy to meet with you.
