Start-up guide - future Steps and building a quality service

STEP 8 - Future Steps - Building a quality service

It may take sometime for the service to settle down- there are always teething problems. You may have to adjust the service over the first few weeks and months of operation. Remember, your initial operations plan was based upon theoretical research- the reality may be different, so be prepared to make changes. You may also not meet your capacity targets straight away, and again it is doubtful that you will- you need consistent marketing and evidence (through practice) that you are providing a quality service. Remember, positive word of mouth is the most successful marketing tool available to you.
